Description


The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) issued a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Sparton DeLeon Springs LLC. (Sparton), 5612 Johnson Lake Road, De Leon Springs, FL 32130, on an other than full and open basis, for the effort, materials, and supplies required to manufacture, assemble, and deliver up to 40,000 AN/SSQ-125 production sonobuoys for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 with an option for 2025. These sonobuoys are critical sensors required by the United States Navy (USN) Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) forces to detect, classify, and localize adversary submarines during peacetime and combat operations. 

The effort was procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
